5.38

初、合述歎經。四王所讚經體宗用，既合佛證三德妙理，故佛述成。諸佛從是法生者，體宗用三既是法性，豈有一佛不從此生？

First, combined confirmation of the praise of the sūtra. Since the substance, principle, and function of the sūtra praised by the Four Kings match the wondrous principle of the three virtues verified by the Buddha, the Buddha confirms and approves them. Regarding "All Buddhas are born from this Dharma": since substance, principle, and function are all three the Dharma-nature, how could there be a single Buddha who is not born from this?
