二、「我念」下，別頌長行，二：初、分文。二、釋義，五：初、頌上本眷屬；二、頌上捨身方便；三、頌上正捨身；四、頌上眷屬愁苦；五、頌上父母愁苦。

Second, from "I recall..." onward, individually versifying the prose, in two [parts]: first, dividing the text; second, explaining the meaning, in five [parts]: first, versifying his original retinue above; second, versifying the expedient means for abandoning the body above; third, versifying the actual abandonment of the body above; fourth, versifying the sorrow and distress of his retinue above; fifth, versifying the sorrow and distress of his parents above.
