二、「如餘」下，約權疑實。引錐指地者，謂無有容錐之地，不是捨身命之處也。從假入空非止一世者，菩薩性地經於三祇修六度故。直行等者，歷別漸次，其相如是。

Second, from "as others" below, doubting the real based on the provisional. "Driving an awl into the ground" means there is not even ground enough to stick an awl, not a place where one gives up body and life. "Entering emptiness from provisionality takes more than a single lifetime" because on the nature-ground a bodhisattva practices the six perfections over three asaṃkhyeya kalpas. "Direct practice, etc." refers to the distinct and gradual progression whose characteristics are like this.
