二、章安總釋，二：初、約義釋，二：初、約佛讚義，二：初、約定果讚因，二：初、正明讚因義，二：初、示義。「私謂」下，總釋也。其文有四者，前大師分科止為三段，以如來定起三行之文合為樹神段中，故註云云。今章安開釋方為盡理，文現可見。

Second, Zhang'an's general explanation has two [parts]: first, explaining in terms of meaning, which has two: first, regarding the meaning of the Buddha's praise, which has two: first, in terms of the fruit of samādhi praising the cause, which has two: first, directly clarifying the meaning of praising the cause, which has two: first, showing the meaning. From "I privately consider..." downwards is the general explanation. That there are four sections of text is because the Great Master's earlier division of headings stopped at three sections, combining the three lines of text where the Tathāgata arises from samādhi into the tree goddess's section; hence the commentary notes as much. Now Zhang'an opens and explains it so that it exhausts the principle, as is clearly visible in the text.
