初、明事三業境。言觀心者，標明觀釋也。先明諸菩薩讚具三業為妙觀境。然讚雖在口，身須恭謹、心仍尊重，三業齊運讚義方成。

First, explaining the phenomenal objects of the three karmas. As for 'contemplating the mind', this marks and clarifies the explanation in terms of contemplation. First it explains that the praises by the bodhisattvas possess the three karmas as the object of wondrous contemplation. Now, although praising lies in the mouth, the body must be reverent and attentive, and the mind must still be respectful; only when the three karmas are operated simultaneously is the meaning of praise accomplished.
