二、「宜聞」下，示行之根性。自有眾生聞說四觀四病得差，屬信行人。自有研心修此四觀四病方差，名法行人。信行則是學讀之人，法行則是坐禪人也，今明二人皆通四教。

Second, from "it is suitable to hear" downward, indicating the faculties and natures of practice. There are sentient beings who hear the explanation of the four contemplations and have their four illnesses cured; these belong to practitioners guided by faith. There are those who examine their minds and cultivate these four contemplations, and only then are their four illnesses cured; these are called practitioners guided by Dharma. Practitioners guided by faith are those who learn through reciting; practitioners guided by Dharma are those who sit in meditation. Here it is clarified that both persons pertain to the four teachings.
