First, praising the ocean of seven major marks. The thirty-two are the major, and the eighty minor marks are the minor. Each and every mark and sign is the Dharma realm, boundless and bottomless, and is therefore called an ocean. The first phrase praises the fourteenth [mark], the exquisite and subtle golden light, hence it says 'supreme color.' Next, one phrase praises the fifteenth, the body light. Third, one line praises the twenty-eighth, the deep and resonant Brahma voice. Fourth, one line praises the seventy-ninth among the minor signs, hair color of blue jewels. Fifth, one line praises the twenty-second, possessing the full forty teeth. Sixth, one line praises the twenty-ninth, the eyes. Seventh, one line praises the twenty-seventh, the tongue being large and thin, covering the face up to the hairline. Eighth, one line praises the thirty-first, the mark of the white curl between the eyebrows. Among these eight sections, one is a minor sign and seven are major marks.
