贊曰：侍佛不滅德。於一切佛常修正行，云歷事諸佛，為度眾生無息時故、不求般涅槃故。《辨中邊論》云「由利他不息」。

Commentary: The virtue of attending the Buddha without extinction. Constantly cultivating correct practice in the presence of all buddhas is called 'serving successive buddhas', because there is never a time when they cease delivering sentient beings, and because they do not seek parinirvāṇa. The Madhyāntavibhāga-śāstra states: 'Because their benefiting of others never ceases.'
