贊曰：善巧化生德。依六神通及十二種方便善巧外六種中而化世間，或依大乘說蘊界等諸善巧法以化世間。簡小乘故，名大善巧。

Commentary: The virtue of transforming sentient beings with skillfulness. Transforming the world based on the six supernormal powers and the six outer kinds among the twelve kinds of skillful means, or based on the Mahāyāna teaching of various skillful dharmas concerning aggregates, realms, etc., to transform the world. Because it is distinguished from the Hīnayāna, it is called 'great skillfulness'.
