贊曰：若見眾生含咲，先言令生歡喜，而得自在，名高王。處灌頂位，得上授記。他進自進對。

Commentary: If seeing sentient beings, one smiles and speaks first to cause them to give rise to joy, thereby attaining sovereignty, called 'Exalted King'. Residing in the stage of consecration and obtaining the superior prediction [of awakening]—[this is] a pairing of advancement of others and advancement of oneself.
