贊曰：破不善闇如日，能令安樂如月，破惡證真對。種種明照如星，隨情成就如火光，能照能成對。

Commentary: Destroying the darkness of unwholesomeness is like the sun; being able to bring about peace and joy is like the moon—[this is] a pairing of destroying evil and realizing the real. Various illuminations are like the stars; accomplishing in accordance with inclinations is like firelight—[this is] a pairing of being able to illuminate and being able to accomplish.
