贊曰：於生死夜能作照明，示於正道名電光，說法驚利如雷音，示道驚悟對。

Commentary: Being able to provide illumination in the night of birth-and-death and showing the correct path is called 'Lightning Light'; preaching the Dharma and startling [beings into] benefit is like the sound of thunder—[this is] a pairing of showing the path and startling into awakening.
