贊曰：從天帝乞，帝所授與，名因陀羅授。能以智火破自他闇名火光，勇決修道名大猛。佛法僧念，名佛護等。

Commentary: Begged from the Lord of Devas and bestowed by the Lord, hence called 'Indra-Bestowed' [Indradatta]. Being able to shatter the darkness of self and other with the fire of wisdom is called 'Fire Light' [Mahāprabha]; cultivating the path with courage and determination is called 'Greatly Valiant' [Mahāvīrya]. Mindfulness of the Buddha, Dharma, and Saṃgha is called 'Buddha-Guarded' [Buddhapālita], and so forth.
