贊曰：見滅愛敬喻，文二，如前。喻文有五：初佛為示滅喻、二敬佛難遭喻、三愛法求學喻、四徵、五釋。此初也。

The commentary says: The simile of seeing cessation and feeling love and respect has two parts, as before. The text of the simile has five parts: 1. the simile of the Buddha manifesting cessation; 2. the simile of revering the Buddha as rare to encounter; 3. the simile of cherishing the Dharma and seeking to learn it; 4. the question; 5. the explanation. This is the first.
