The commentary states: This clarifies that the real dharmakāya is fully endowed with the four virtues, and therefore has no relics. It is also divided into four parts: this first part clarifies that the virtue of permanence and reality does not share the same place with impermanent falsity; hence there are no relics. Moreover, contemplation of impermanence does not attain the virtue of permanence; if it could attain it, one could seek relics, but since it cannot be attained, they cannot be sought.
