The commentary says: This is contemplating existence. Because the power of his past vows to benefit others is fulfilled, just as an illusory creation displays various activities and a wish-fulfilling jewel produces various items, [he acts] through the power of knowledge regarding the superiority and inferiority of faculties, the power of knowledge regarding the various realms of natures, the power of knowledge regarding inclinations and conduct leading everywhere, or inclinations and resolute intentions are collectively the power of knowledge regarding resolute intentions. 'Demonstrating, instructing, benefiting, and gladdening without conceptualization' is as explained in the Prakaraṇāryavācā, fascicle twelve, and the Yogācāra[-bhūmi], fascicle eighty-one, having five aspects: first, causing them to depart from desire, which is reproaching all the faults of desire; second, demonstrating, which is displaying the four kinds of principles; third, instructing, which is admonishing and causing them to train; fourth, benefiting, which is seeing their regress and encouraging them to benefit; fifth, gladdening, which is seeing their progress and giving rise to rejoicing. 'To the limit of the future' and so forth is constant deliverance.
