贊曰：下喻莊嚴。舉喻畫空作莊嚴具，如空無相，嚴具亦無相，故是難思。如喻空，如如智喻畫。或如如上諸功德義如嚴空俱是無相，是難思議。

Commentary: Below is the simile of adornment. It adduces the simile of painting ornaments upon empty space: just as space has no marks, the ornaments also have no marks, and therefore it is difficult to conceive. Tathatā is likened to space; the wisdom of tathatā is likened to the painting. Or, the meanings of all merits upon tathatā, like adorning space, are all devoid of marks, which is difficult to conceive.
