經 「不害｀眾生命，及施於飲食，由斯二種因，得壽命長遠。是故大覺尊，壽命難知數，如劫無邊際，壽量＇亦如是。」
Sūtra: "Not harming the lives of sentient beings / and bestowing food and drink— / by these two kinds of causes / one attains a long and distant lifespan. / Therefore, the Great Awakened Honoured One's / lifespan is difficult to know in number; / just as kalpas are boundless, / his lifespan is likewise so.
