Commentary: This re-explains and establishes [the point]. 'Although there is differentiation, in substance there is no differentiation' explains the previous 'cannot be conceptualized.' Although there is the numerical distinction of three—dharmakāya, samādhi, and wisdom—it is not an object of a conceptualizing mind nor a sphere of speech, so it is said that 'in substance there is no differentiation.' 'Although there is the number three, there are not three substances' explains 'transcending all marks.' Although there is the number three—dharmakāya, samādhi, and wisdom—there are no separate, isolated substances. 'Neither increase nor decrease' explains 'neither eternal nor annihilated': not increasing, they are not eternal; not decreasing, they are not annihilated.
