贊曰：下喻明。前明五果，喻亦有五。譬如有人，即譬前依於此身異熟果。願欲得金，喻得發初心增上果。處處求覓遂得金礦，喻等流果。喻前修行地心中資糧位，依憑教力起信心，知自身中有佛性，法身理事兩性俱得，如金礦為障所覆，如得金礦。

Commentary: Below, it is explained through similes. Previously the five fruits were explained, and the similes also have five parts. 'Like a person' illustrates the previous fruitional result (vipākaphala) relying on this body. 'Wishes to obtain gold' illustrates the sovereign result (adhipatiphala) of producing the initial aspiration. 'Searches everywhere and finally finds gold ore' illustrates the concordant result (niṣyandaphala). This illustrates the stage of accumulation (sambhāramārga) in the mind of the stage of cultivation: relying on the power of the teachings, one gives rise to faith and knows that within one's own body there is Buddha-nature, possessing both the noumenal and phenomenal aspects of the dharmakāya, just as the gold ore is covered by defilements, like finding gold ore.
