贊曰：空相似染道前。若屏除，道中。除已是空界，淨道後。與《勝鬘經》說喻相似。

The commentary says: Space appearing defiled represents prior to the path. 'If these are cleared away' represents during the path. 'Once cleared away, that realm of space is pure' represents following the path. This is similar to the metaphor spoken in the Śrīmālādevī-sūtra.
