贊曰：勸令信解。令信解意為修之方便。言善男子，呼虛空藏菩薩。「若有」已下，一切男女但能說佛是我師者、決定信者，此人即應能深解了如來無別。或云如來是我大師，能決定信，應如所說深心解了。或勸地前應決定信如來無異，地上菩薩深心解了如來無別。

Commentary: Exhorting faith and understanding. The intention in prompting faith and understanding is as an upāya for cultivation. Saying "good son" addresses Bodhisattva Ākāśagarbha. From "If there are" onward: any man or woman who can simply say "The Buddha is my teacher" and have resolute faith will then be able to deeply understand that the Tathāgata is without difference. Alternatively, it means that saying "The Tathāgata is my great teacher" and being able to have resolute faith, they should, as has been said, understand with deep mind. Or it exhorts that those prior to the bhūmis should have resolute faith that the Tathāgata is without difference, while bodhisattvas on the bhūmis understand with deep mind that the Tathāgata is without distinction.
