贊曰：下有十三頌，第二復次多懺業障。文分為四：初十頌明懺悔、次一頌明隨喜、次一頌明發願、後一頌迴向。懺悔中分三：此初一頌請護述依。

The Commentary states: Below there are thirteen verses, which constitute the second section, repenting many karmic hindrances. The text is divided into four parts: the first ten verses explain confession, the next verse explains rejoicing, the next verse explains making vows, and the final verse concerns dedication of merit. Within the confession, it is divided into three parts; this first verse requests protection and expresses reliance.
