贊曰：下二頌願為斷除。於中，初一頌半令離枷鎖鞭杖苦、次半頌令離殘害斷命苦。

Commentary: The following two verses vow to sever and eliminate them. Within them, the first verse and a half causes them to be freed from the suffering of shackles, fetters, and flogging; the next half-verse causes them to be freed from the suffering of mutilation and loss of life.
