贊曰：此一頌第五四回向，即十度中第七方便。方便有二：一回向方便、二拔濟方便，此回向也。後智為體。上句雖有願言，下句意明方便，不爾與前發願何別？前已發願言我之所有眾善業，願得速成無上尊等竟，故此回向。

Commentary: This one verse is the fifth part, "Dedication," which is the seventh pāramitā, Upāya, among the ten pāramitās. There are two kinds of upāya: first, the upāya of dedication; second, the upāya of rescue and salvation. This is dedication. Its essence is subsequent cognition (pṛṣṭhalabdhajñāna). Although the upper line speaks of aspiration, the intention of the lower line is to clarify upāya; were it not so, how would it differ from the preceding generation of aspirations? Since one has already generated aspirations previously, saying: "Whatever wholesome karma I possess, may I swiftly become the unexcelled Honored One," etc., this is dedication.
