贊曰：下舉益勸修。有三：初舉有漏益勸修、後舉無漏益勸修。有漏之中，初舉欲界、後舉色界。欲界中，初人、次天。人中四姓，初舉吠舍、戍陀二勸，次舉淨行、剎帝利勸。此初二。

Commentary: Below is presenting benefits to exhort practice. There are three: first, presenting contaminated benefits to exhort practice; later, presenting uncontaminated benefits to exhort practice. Within the contaminated, first it presents the desire realm, and later presents the form realm. Within the desire realm, first are humans, next are gods. Among humans, of the four castes, first it presents the vaiśya and śūdra to exhort them, next it presents the pure practitioners (brāhmaṇa) and kṣatriya to exhort them. These are the first two.
