贊曰：下佛答，有四：一答初問并教儀則、二正教隨喜、三明隨喜得福多少、四即勸修。此即初也。儀則可知。設有未修，當可能修，故能隨喜。又得福多。

Commentary: Below is the Buddha's answer, which has four parts: first, answering the initial question and teaching the ritual procedure; second, directly teaching rejoicing; third, explaining the amount of merit obtained from rejoicing; fourth, urging cultivation. This is the first. The ritual procedure is clear. Even if there are those who have not cultivated, they will be capable of cultivating in the future, so one is able to rejoice. Furthermore, one obtains much merit.
