贊曰：第二問勸請。有五：一天帝為問、二如來為答、三明福多少、四引己為證、五勸修行。此初問也。有二：初結前、次請。後請中，初申請、後請意。

Commentary: The second question on entreaty. There are five parts: first, the King of the Devas asks; second, the Tathāgata answers; third, explaining the amount of merit; fourth, citing oneself as proof; fifth, urging practice. This is the initial question. There are two parts: first, concluding the preceding; second, making the request. In the latter request, first is making the petition; second is the intention of the petition.
