4.118

則於諸法中不得自在障。五種神通，過於二乘及前菩薩，又能廣利，得自在故，名大神通。變謂轉換，現謂化現，無而忽有。微細祕密，有大法智雲及所含藏。細者妙也，即是微妙，由離障故、極難得故。難解，稱祕密。未能悟解，則無明。事業者，利生事業，於第九地無明障此，故入第十即能永斷。

This is the obstacle of lacking mastery among all phenomena. The five kinds of supernormal powers surpass those of the two vehicles and the preceding bodhisattvas, and furthermore can broadly benefit [sentient beings]; because mastery is attained, they are called "great supernormal powers." "Transforming" means alteration; "manifesting" means magical creation, appearing suddenly from nonexistence. "Subtle secrets" means the presence of the great cloud of the Dharma-wisdom and what it contains. "Subtle" means exquisite, that is, subtle and wondrous; it is because of being free from obstacles and being exceedingly difficult to attain. Being difficult to understand is called "secret." "Not yet having awakened to and understood" is ignorance. "Activities" refers to activities of benefiting sentient beings. On the ninth ground, ignorance obstructs this; therefore, upon entering the tenth ground one can sever it forever.
