4.131

「善男子！此陀羅尼是過二恒河沙數諸佛所說，為護二地菩薩故。若有誦持此陀羅尼呪者，脫諸怖畏惡獸惡鬼人非人等怨賊災橫及諸苦惱，解脫五障，不忘念二地。善男子！菩薩摩訶薩於第三地得陀羅尼名難勝力。」

"Good sons! This dhāraṇī was spoken by buddhas exceeding the sands of two Gaṅgā rivers, in order to protect bodhisattvas of the second ground. If there is anyone who recites and upholds this dhāraṇī mantra, they will be freed from all fears, ferocious beasts, evil spirits, humans, non-humans, enemies, thieves, disasters, mishaps, and all sufferings, will be liberated from the five obstacles, and will not forget the second ground. Good sons! On the third ground, the bodhisattva-mahāsattva attains the dhāraṇī named Hard to Overcome Power."
