4.135

「善男子！此陀羅尼是過四恒河沙數諸佛所說，為護四地菩薩故。若有誦持此陀羅尼呪者，脫諸怖畏惡獸惡鬼人非人等怨賊災橫及諸苦惱，解脫五障，不忘念四地。善男子！菩薩摩訶薩於第五地得陀羅尼名種種功德莊嚴。」

"Good sons! This dhāraṇī was spoken by buddhas exceeding the sands of four Gaṅgā rivers, in order to protect bodhisattvas of the fourth ground. If there is anyone who recites and upholds this dhāraṇī mantra, they will be freed from all fears, ferocious beasts, evil spirits, humans, non-humans, enemies, thieves, disasters, mishaps, and all sufferings, will be liberated from the five obstacles, and will not forget the fourth ground. Good sons! On the fifth ground, the bodhisattva-mahāsattva attains the dhāraṇī named Adornment with Diverse Merits."
