贊曰：觀生常利德。平等觀生，怨親利鈍、好醜自他，依法界等，此一切種相皆無故。大悲不捨，即空觀有，故於苦等常與救護。

Commentary: The virtue of contemplating beings to constantly benefit them. Contemplating living beings with equanimity—hostile or friendly, sharp or dull, beautiful or ugly, self or other—in accord with the dharmadhātu, all these modes of marks are completely nonexistent. With great compassion he does not abandon them, contemplating existence directly through emptiness; therefore, toward those who suffer, he constantly provides rescue and protection.
