贊曰：誠也。有二：初能聽聞者不退菩提、後聽受者滅障勝進。初中有五：一標、二徵、三順釋、四重徵、五反顯。此即標也。

The commentary says: This is the validation. There are two parts: first, those who can hear it do not regress from bodhi; second, those who hear and accept it eliminate obstacles and make superior progress. In the first there are five points: (1) statement, (2) questioning, (3) direct explanation, (4) questioning again, and (5) negative illustration. This is the statement.
