4.193

贊曰：滅障勝進。有三：一滅三障、二近善友、三得勝法。此初也，一滅罪、二得淨。得淨即是罪滅福生，或先破戒還令清淨。

The commentary says: This is eliminating obstacles and making superior progress. There are three parts: (1) eliminating the three obstacles, (2) drawing near to good spiritual friends, and (3) attaining superior dharmas. This is the first: (1) eliminating sins, and (2) attaining purity. Attaining purity means sins are extinguished and blessings arise, or that those who previously broke the precepts are made pure again.
