贊曰：下答，有二：初答第二問、後「善男子譬如寶須彌」下答第一問。答後問中，初印答、後釋答。印答中，初印、次徵、後釋。此初也。

The commentary says: The reply below has two parts: first, replying to the second question; afterwards, from "Good son, just as a precious Sumeru..." onward, replying to the first question. In replying to the second question, there is first the affirming reply, and afterwards the explanatory reply. Within the affirming reply, there is first the affirmation, next the query, and afterwards the explanation. This is the first.
