贊曰：品第三段時眾獲益慶躍奉行。分五：初指所聞法。二顯得悟數。三「悉能了」下明所得悟。四「願捨」下明願修行、願捨生死。出離者，涅槃。五「深心」下明慶益奉持，流通不絕。

Commentary: The third section of the chapter describes the assembly at that time obtaining benefit, rejoicing, leaping [for joy], and putting it into practice. It is divided into five parts: first, pointing out the Dharma heard; second, revealing the number of those who attained awakening; third, from 'were all able to comprehend' onward, clarifying the awakening attained; fourth, from 'vowed to renounce' onward, clarifying the vow to cultivate—vowing to renounce birth and death ('liberation' means nirvāṇa); fifth, from 'with deep mind' onward, clarifying their rejoicing in the benefit and upholding it, circulating it without interruption.
