贊曰：為通，有三：初總非、次通釋、後「梵王是諸聖人」下結成。或分為二：初總非、次通釋。釋中有四，法、喻、合、結。今且依初科。此初也。

Commentary: To provide the resolution, there are three parts: first a general denial, next an explanatory resolution, and finally the conclusion from 'Brahmā King, these noble persons' downward. Or it may be divided into two: first a general denial, and next an explanatory resolution. In the explanation there are four: the dharma, simile, application, and conclusion. For now we follow the first division. This is the first.
