贊曰：下愚人執實喻。有三：初不知幻本喻、次初見執實喻、後終亦不思喻。初也。言幻本者，幻人幻緣皆名為本，喻無智故不知五蘊從緣假生。

Commentary: Next is the simile of the foolish person grasping them as real. There are three parts: first the simile of not knowing the origin of the illusion, next the simile of grasping them as real upon initial perception, and finally the simile of never reflecting in the end. This is the first. Regarding 'the origin of the illusion', both the illusory person and the illusory conditions are called the origin; this illustrates that due to lack of wisdom, one does not know that the five aggregates arise conventionally from conditions.
