贊曰:次初不執實喻。喻見諦理無漏智人,初知實無,離於有執。後審思所以假有實無。初也。知無象馬等實,用除增益執。

Commentary: Next is the simile of initially not grasping them as real. This illustrates a person of undefiled wisdom who has seen the principle of the truths: initially knowing they are really non-existent, they are free from the grasp of existence. Later they examine the reasons for conventional existence and real non-existence. This is the first. Knowing that there is no real existence of elephants, horses, and so forth, they use this to eliminate the grasp of superimposition.
