贊曰：第四大段明時眾聞經得益多少。有三：初明十地得不退益、次明十迴得見道益、後明十住得不退益。初也。不退有四，此行不退，入第八地，相用煩惱不能動故。

The commentary says: The fourth major section explains how many among the assembly hearing the sūtra attained benefit. There are three: first, explaining the benefit of non-retrogression attained on the ten grounds; second, explaining the benefit of the Path of Vision attained in the ten dedications; third, explaining the benefit of non-retrogression attained in the ten abidings. This is the first. There are four kinds of non-retrogression; this is non-retrogression of practice, entering the eighth ground, because characteristics, functions, and afflictions cannot waver it.
