贊曰：後得果益。有二：初得至初地、後「爾時世尊」下得極當記。初也。依聞此經及重發心修行功德，更復如說修行過九十大劫，當得無漏二空解悟，出分段生死，名離生死。依此功德更如說行至迴向位，故言過九十大劫。以十迴向中修行之時各經十劫，如《淨行優婆塞戒經》說。

Commentary: Next is attaining the benefit of the fruit. There are two parts: first, attaining arrival at the first bhūmi; second, from "At that time the World-Honoured One" downward, receiving the ultimate future prediction. This is the first. Relying on the merit of hearing this sūtra, renewing their resolve, and cultivating, and further cultivating as taught for ninety great kalpas, they will attain the untainted understanding and realization of the two kinds of emptiness, and transcend fragmented birth and death; this is called "transcending birth and death." Relying on this merit, they further practice as taught until reaching the stage of dedication; hence it says "after ninety great kalpas." This is because during cultivation in the ten dedications, each takes ten kalpas, as taught in the Upāsakaśīlasūtra.
