贊曰：合也。無上法寶，即七寶財，或七覺分，或一切功德，即是經義。如綖貫華、如經持緯，能詮勝教顯生功德，故經無亦無法。

Commentary: This is the application. The supreme Dharma treasures are the seven noble riches, or the seven factors of awakening, or all merits—namely, the meaning of the sūtra. Just as a thread strings flowers together, or as the warp holds the weft, the superior teaching as expresser reveals and generates merits; therefore, if the sūtra is absent, the dharmas are also absent.
