4.71

經　「善男子！依五種法，菩薩摩訶薩成就布施波羅蜜。云何為五？一者信根、二者慈悲、三者無求欲心、四者攝受一切眾生、五者願求一切智智。善男子！是名菩薩摩訶薩成就布施波羅蜜。」

Sūtra: “Good son! Relying on five dharmas, a bodhisattva mahāsattva accomplishes the giving (dāna) pāramitā. What are the five? First, the faculty of faith; second, love and compassion; third, a mind without desire or seeking; fourth, gathering in all sentient beings; fifth, vowing and seeking the wisdom of all wisdoms (sarvajñajñāna). Good son! This is called a bodhisattva mahāsattva accomplishing the giving pāramitā.”
