5.111

經　爾時四天王白佛言：「世尊！若有人王能作如是恭敬正法聽此經王，并於四眾持經之人恭敬供養尊重讚歎，時彼人王欲為我等生歡喜故，當在一邊近於法座，香水灑地散眾名華，安置處所設四王座，我與彼王共聽正法。其王所有自利善根，亦以福分施及我等。世尊！時彼人王請說法者昇座之時，便為我等燒眾名香供養是經。」

Sūtra: At that time, the Four Heavenly Kings said to the Buddha: 'World-Honoured One! If there is a king of men who can revere the saddharma like this, listen to this king of sūtras, and also respect, make offerings to, revere, and praise the persons of the fourfold assembly who uphold the sūtra, then when that king of men wishes to produce joy for us, he should stand to one side near the Dharma seat, sprinkle the ground with scented water, scatter various famous flowers, prepare the place, and set up four seats for the kings; we will listen to the saddharma together with that king. With that king's own roots of goodness for svārtha, he should also transfer portions of the merit to us. World-Honoured One! When that king of men invites the speaker of the Dharma to ascend the seat, he should burn various famous incenses for us to make offerings to this sūtra.'
