下品文分二：初益飲食資持、後「白佛言」下與呪現身加被。初中復四：初標益弘經、二「若有方處」下正明得益、三「爾時世尊」下佛重述成、四「爾時堅牢」下地神願護。標中有二：初儀軌、後標益。此初也。

The text of this chapter below is divided into two parts: first, the benefit of sustaining nourishment; later, from "addressed the Buddha, saying" onward, conferring dhāraṇīs, manifesting her body, and granting empowerment. The first part also has four sections: first, indicating the benefit of propagating the sūtra; second, from "If in any place" onward, directly clarifying the reception of benefits; third, from "At that time the World-Honoured One" onward, the Buddha reiterating and confirming it; fourth, from "At that time Dṛḍhā" onward, the earth goddess vowing to protect. The indication contains two points: first, the ritual posture; second, indicating the benefit. This is the first.
