下別說教之。三呪即為三段。此初，有三：初標、次說、後誦法。言即可者，不是八日初即誦此誦名神呪，乘文便勢說即可誦此。不爾，護身呪何時說？故應先誦護身呪。

Below is explaining and teaching it separately. The three dhāraṇīs constitute three sections. This is the first, which has three points: first, the heading; next, the recitation; later, the method of recitation. Saying "one may then" does not mean that at the beginning of the eighth day one immediately recites this divine dhāraṇī; rather, taking advantage of the flow of the text, it says "one may then recite this". Were it not so, when would the body-protection dhāraṇī be recited? Therefore, one should first recite the body-protection dhāraṇī.
