解難者，問：前與辨才亦是智慧，此云與智，與前何別？答：雖俱是智，而體用別。四辨明用，此明體故。四辨後得智，此通根本故。此依初解品來意，難依第二解，總別有殊，亦無前妨。

Resolving difficulties: Question: Previously, bestowing unhindered eloquence was also wisdom; here it speaks of bestowing wisdom—what is the difference from the preceding? Answer: Although both are wisdom, their essence and function differ. The four unhindered eloquences clarify function, whereas this clarifies essence; the four unhindered eloquences are subsequent wisdom, whereas this extends to fundamental wisdom. This is based on the first explanation of the chapter's purpose. If the difficulty is answered based on the second explanation, general and particular differ, so there is likewise no preceding obstruction.
