贊曰：下佛教令迎。有二：初誡不應不迎、「時彼人王」下示正軌。正軌中有五：初明迎軌則、二「四王以何因緣」下釋迎所以、三「於說法師」下明迎心想、四「後宮眷屬」下明得利益、五「四王當知」下結成勸意。此初也。

The commentary states: Below, the Buddha teaches them to welcome [the master]. There are two parts: first, admonishing that one should not fail to welcome; from 'At that time, that human king...' onward, showing the correct protocol. Within the correct protocol, there are five aspects: 1. clarifying the protocol for welcoming; 2. from 'Four Kings, for what reason...' onward, explaining the reason for welcoming; 3. from 'toward the expounder of Dharma...' onward, clarifying the mental thoughts during welcoming; 4. from 'the retinue of the inner palace...' onward, clarifying the benefits obtained; 5. from 'Four Kings, you should know...' onward, concluding with an encouraging intention. This is the first.
