下明救魚行。文亦為四：初明菩薩眷屬、二「是時流水」下明其救魚、三「爾時世尊」下諸天聞讚、四「佛告善女天」下明魚報恩。此即初也。

Below, it explains the deeds of saving the fish. The text is also divided into four: first, explaining the bodhisattva's family; second, from 'At that time Jalavāhana' onward, explaining his saving the fish; third, from 'At that time the World-Honored One' onward, the gods hearing and praising him; fourth, from 'The Buddha said to the Devī' onward, explaining the fish repaying the kindness. This is the first.
