經。爾時世尊為諸大眾說長者子昔緣之時，諸人天眾歎未曾有。時四大天王各於其處，異口同音作如是說：「善哉釋迦尊，說妙法明呪，生福除眾惡，十二支相應。我等亦說呪，擁護如是法，若有生違逆，不善隨順者，頭破作七分，猶如蘭香梢。我等於佛前，共說其呪曰：」

Sūtra: At that time, when the World-Honoured One was speaking to the great assembly of the elder's son's past conditions, the assembly of humans and devas praised it as unprecedented. Then the Four Great Heavenly Kings, each in his own place, spoke with different mouths but a single voice, saying: / "Excellent, Śākya Honoured One, / who has spoken the wondrous Dharma and vidyā-mantra, / which generates merit and eliminates manifold evils, / corresponding to the twelve branches. / We also shall speak a mantra / to protect and sustain such a Dharma. / If there is anyone who opposes or defies it, / and does not skillfully comply, / their head shall break into seven pieces, / like the tip of an arjaka branch. / Before the Buddha, / we together proclaim its mantra, saying:"
